It may look fairly polished and easy to do when you see Jonathan’s bible codes videos, which demonstrate his knowledge of the terms he has found and their locations and proximity to other terms, as well as his understanding of the meanings, which he then translates for you into English.
But, there is a lot of work to it.
There’s literally hours upon hours of research and studying that must be done before, during and after the bible code searching tables that you see Jonathan work on. And then, with what we may have gleaned from our research, there are more countless hours of Jonathan searching those terms in the codes with the computer software codes program.
There’s just two of us here to be ‘cephering’ (connecting the dots) all the time.
I thought I would share with you just one of those types of things studied.
I was reading in the book of YASHAR…
YASHAR means ‘the straight path’….There is a word we all know, which is Yisrael or Israel. But, with it’s spelling, and certainly from a Paleo Hebrew perspective, it could just as easily be pronounced YASHAR-EL: YASHAREL, or the straight path to EL (ELoHiYM).
YASHER is a book written long ago with a lot of history recorded.
If you know your scriptures, you’re likely going to be very familiar with the characters in the story.
According to the foreward in the Cepher translation, it “is a set of annals which appear to have been handed down through a series of authors. Shemu’el, the translator of the 1840 edition maintained that this book is indeed mentioned in the Old Testament. It is a monument of antiquity.”
The translator said, ‘notwithstanding that some few additions may have been made to it in comparatively modern times, it still retains sufficient authenticity to prove it a copy of the book referred to in” Joshua 10 and 2 Samuel 1, which is where the book is quoted in scripture.
Anyway, since the story of Noach (aka ‘Noah’) is a favorite bible story among believers, I thought I would share an 8 verse passage in YASHAR, chapter 4. It begins speaking about Noach and his birth.
v. 14 And Methushelach called his name Noach, saying, “The Earth is at rest and free from corruption, and Lemek his father called his name Menachem (meh-nach’-kem), saying, This one shall comfort us in our works and miserable toil on the earth, which ELOHIYM had cursed.
v. 15 And the child grew up and was weaned, and he went in the ways of his father Methushelach, perfect and upright with ELOHIYM.
v. 16 And all the sons of men departed from the ways of YAHUAH in those days as they multiplied upon the face of the earth with sons and daughters, and they taught one another their evil practices and they continued sinning against YAHUAH.
v. 17 And every man made unto himself an elohiym, and they robbed and plundered every man his neighbor as well as his relative, and they corrupted the earth, and the earth was filled with violence.
v. 18 And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their women by force from their men according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air,
and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke YAHUAH; and ELOHIYM saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals.
v. 19 And YAHUAH said, I will blot out man that I created from the face of the earth, yea from man to the birds of the air, together with the cattle and beasts that are in the field for I repent that I made them.
v. 20 And all men who walked in the ways of YAHUAH brought the evil upon man which he had declared, for this was from YAHUAH, that they should not see the evil which YAHUAH spoke of concerning the sons of men.
v. 21 And Noach found favor in the sight of YAHUAH, and YAHUAH chose him and his children to raise up seed from them upon the face of the whole earth.
This passage was taken from the Cepher restored name translation. The Cepher includes all the Scriptures we have always known, as well as other historical books which were for some reason left out of the Council of Nicea’s decision of what to include and what not to include, even though some of these are mentioned in the Canon we have by name, such as YASHAR, Chanoch (‘Enoch’), and there’s also Yovelim (‘Jubilees’).
The Cepher is a great translation to begin with or add to your existing restored name Scriptures. We have one of each kind EXCEPT the Messianic Aleph Tav Scriptures. And, we’re working on that one, too.
